Hatch Schedule & Reservations
How to reserve the chicks you want:
Pick your date(s): Take a look at the hatch schedule or the hatching calendar below for the hatch dates of your desired breeds. If you scroll all the way to the bottom of that page you can see all the dates by breed.
Make your appointment: Go to the appointment setter and set an appointment for no sooner than the day after the hatch day and no later than a week after hatch day, that is, if the hatch is on the 3rd, set an appointment for any day between the 4th and the 10th. The chicks need time to rest up between adventures.
In the notes section of your appointment requests, tell me how many of which breed you wish to reserve, and what you would accept as substitutes.
Scheduled Hatches That Are Not Yet Spoken For:
Orpingtons: Jubilee Chicks Hatch
a Flower Feather Farm flock
So fluffy! So gorgeous. These gentle birds are winter-hardy and faithful layers of brown eggs. Jubilee Orpingtons are my most sought-after breeds with folks driving from Montana and Wyoming to pick them up.
Swedish Flower Hens Chicks Hatch
a Flower Feather Farm Flock
Swedish Flower Hens: These beautiful birds evolved naturally in Sweden, living off the land without human influence. They lay cream-colored eggs and are good foragers, good predator avoiders, and oh so pretty.
Wheaten Olive Egger Chicks Hatch
a Flower Feather Farm flock
A Wheaten Olive Egger is a hybrid of Wheaten/Blue Wheaten/Splash Ameraucanas and Wheaten/Blue Wheaten Marans who will lay lovely medium to large olive eggs, often with speckles. The birds are lovely and sweet, and can have with muffs, or beards, or feathery legs, or all three!
Expect the hens to be creamy gold and the roosters to have blue and black trim, much like their Maran and Ameraucana counterparts.

These have gorgeous gold feathering and a soft blue-grey underfluff.

We hatch all year-round and add hatch dates to the schedule as eggs become available, so if what you want isn’t in the plans yet, check back, as we are always adding hatch dates.
If you see other chicks hatching on the day you want, but not the breed you want, they are all spoken for. You will need to look for a different date.
You can see the Hatching Schedule in Calendar Form here.
