Everytime I head out to take pictures I tell myself, "Do not take any more pics of American Dawn." I have 35+ keeper pics of her already this year, which means I've probably taken at least 350 pics.
But then I get out there and there she is, calling to the camera and I give in. I love how her colors change from early season to late and from early bloom to late and from sunny days to cloudy days. She is the queen of wardrobe, changing her look every time I look. And then, of course, I have to take another picture.

Dahlia tubers ship in April and May.
Dahlias are an easy-to-grow long-lasting burst of color in your garden. Excellent cut flowers and long-lasting bloomers.
Though they do require some staking and support, and you will want to dig them up in the fall and store them in a cool damp (but not too damp) place for winter, they are worth the effort.
